Becky is a Scottish theatre director and writer from Edinburgh. She was a finalist for the prestigious JMK Award in 2019/2021 and worked at the Royal Shakespeare Company from 2017-2019. Becky trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, was Resident Trainee Director at the Lyceum Theatre and is currently an Associate Artist for She Productions in East Yorkshire.
Recent directing credits include: Bridezilla and the Orchard of Sin, Hotdog (Traverse/A Play, a Pie and a Pint); Woman Walking (Sylvain Productions with Perth Theatre); God Catcher (Petrichor Productions/Prickly Pear Productions); The Steamie (Dundee Rep), Seven Against Edinburgh (Lyceum Theatre); Bloodbank, Not Now, He Who Opens the Door (A Play, a Pie and a Pint); Bombshells, It’s Different For Girls (She Productions).
As a writer, Becky’s first play with music, Seven Against Edinburgh, was produced by the Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh. Her next writing project, Lifeline, a new musical, will be performed this Autumn Off-Broadway in New York.
